A deserved sanction or a stolen victory? Sebastian Vettel and Ferrari’s penalty in the Canadian Grand Prix, which handed Lewis Hamilton’s Mercedes another Formula 1 victory, has divided opinion.

Past world champions including Nico Rosberg, Nigel Mansell and Damon Hill have had their say, as well as thousands of fans, as the incident dominates post-race debate.

But did the stewards really have a choice? Edd Straw is joined by Scott Mitchell and Jonathan Noble to talk through the incident and discuss whether stewards should be given more power to interpret regulations, or whether the rules now need to change.
